Wild Birds & Long Necks

The Geese were in perfect motion this evening over 

Lake Pelham in Culpeper VA. Their form and motion 

are poetry on display. The long neck aerodynamic design 

moving thru the air with power and grace. 

Together a divine creation.

Walking along the creek I spotted this snake in the water. As I 

walked over the bridge the snake moved onto the rocks. 

It has it's eye on me as I paused to stop and take this

picture of it sunning on the rocks.

Spring in the Piedmont

A warm March in Culpeper gave way to an early spring. 

The tree blossoms add bright vibrant 

color to the Virginia Piedmont.
