Madison County Blue Ridge Mountain December Snow

Traveling south from Culpeper on route 29. There is a clear view of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Madison County. I caught a snow storm coming over the mountains this afternoon. Not much snow in the lower altitudes. The mountains are blue with a soft shade of white. There are few views that rival this one when the seasons change. See an earlier blog post from the spring.

Depot Christmas Card - Merry Christmas from Culpeper VA

I took this picture tonight as I was leaving the Depot.  It was cold and quiet. I saw the tree so bright, an adornment to the Town. It made me pause and consider Christmas and how many things there are to be thankful for. As I posted the picture, it reminded me of a Christmas card. So here it is,  Merry Christmas from Culpeper Virginia.
